The Knights of Columbus Golf League will begin play Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 9:00 am tee off time. Home course will be the Tygart Valley Golf . If rain out occurs on matches the next Thursday will be the makeup day. The golf league is open to all and you do not have to be a member to play. Teams will be chosen day of play.
Changes for 2024 Golf Season
- No Ties – Funds for that hole will be returned to league treasury.
- No Long Drive – Monies that have been collected for this event will go to the winning team, based on number of players for that day.
- All games that are canceled due to weather will be made up on Thursday, weather permitting.
- Teams will be draw by classification not personal preference, A-B-C players. Note: C players must be 80 years old or handicap to hit from red tees.
Payouts
Closest to the pin on holes 3,5,7,10,13 and 15 Player closest to pin wins $ 2.00 per team member. No outright winner funds will go to league treasury.
Winning Team (Lowest Score Total) will receive payout based on number of players for that day. If there is a tie, funds will go to League Treasury.
Hole 8 – Closest to the pin on second shot will win hole for team. Payout will depend on number of players for that day.
Hole 16 -Longest put will win the hole for that team. Payout will depend on number of players for that day. Note: Must reach the green on 2nd shot to be eligible.
