RETIREMENT CELEBRATION OF SISTER STELLA CRONAUER, CSJ

On March 19, 2025, a Retirement Celebration was held for Sister Stella Cronauer.  Sister Stella Cronauer entered the religious community as Sister of St. Jospeh of Baden, PA in September 1963 and professed first vows August 18, 1966.  She served in education (teacher, principal and co-administrator) for the Dioceses of Pittsburgh, Greensburg and Columbus from 1966 – 1985. She served as director of religious education/pastoral minister from 1988-1992 in Pennsylvania Dioceses.  Sister Stella has ministered at Immaculate Conception Parish, Fairmont, WV from August 1992-March 2025.  Her service to Immaculate Conception Parish has included leading OCIA, visiting the home bound, coordinating links between church ministries, and sacramental celebrations.  she has been the pastoral associate for nine priests.

She celebrated her retirement at Immaculate conception Parish, Fairmont, WV.

Bishop Mark Brennen presided the celebration with several priest and the church community.   Following a reception was held at the Knights of Columbus 942 Hall.
